20. Zobo
Zobo is not food, and it still belongs here. It is a chilled hibiscus drink, boiled with ginger and sometimes pineapple or cloves, then sweetened and served cold. The colour is deep red. The taste is tart, then sweet, then warm from the ginger. It is the correct thing to hand someone with suya or puff-puff. One cup after the last plate is how you close the day.
If they can only try five, make it suya, boli with groundnut, puff-puff, akara in Agege bread, and zobo. That set covers fire, sweet, morning, and something to drink, and it makes the rest of the list easier to sell.
