17. Paying for Someone Else’s Lifestyle
Helping family and friends is an important part of African culture. Supporting people when they genuinely need help can be admirable.
However, there is a difference between helping someone through a difficult situation and constantly borrowing money to maintain another person’s lifestyle.
You should not put yourself into serious debt because someone expects you to pay for things they could live without.
Help when you can, but do not destroy your own financial stability in the process.
