12. Egg roll
Egg roll looks plain and eats better than it sounds. A hard-boiled egg is wrapped in a lightly sweet dough and deep-fried until the coat is golden. You break it and find the egg in the middle. Hawkers sell it in traffic, next to puff-puff and chin chin. It is filling, which is why drivers buy it when the queue is not moving. The dough should be cooked through, not raw at the egg.
